Executive Team

 

John Quinn

Managing Director
John has over 25 years industry experience across a range of technology areas with strengths in sales, sales management and strategic marketing, focussing on both direct and indirect channels.

His extensive experience is in Australia and New Zealand as well as many major Asian markets. At Sequent Computer Systems he served as one of three members of the company’s worldwide marketing council, with responsibility for Asia and the Pacific. He spent five years with the technology consulting and development company Oakton Limited as General Manager NSW, serving as Executive Director when Oakton listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. He also established their NSW branch and products business. Most recently John was Managing Partner of Moss & Hooper, a technology focused business development and consulting firm.

John joined Taggle Systems as Managing Director in 2015.

 

Gordon Foyster

Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer
Gordon is one of the co-founders of Taggle Systems with extensive experience in electronics design. With a mathematics degree from the University of Wollongong and a Masters in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University in California, Gordon worked in Silicon Valley in the early 1980s, returning to Australia to join Austek Microsystems, an integrated circuit start-up modelled on Silicon Valley enterprises. He was part of the team that developed the groundbreaking wireless local area network system at start-up Radiata Communications, which sold to Cisco System in 2000 as one of Australia’s largest ever technology sales. He left Cisco to become a co-founder of G2 Microsystems, a wireless start-up developing low power Wi-Fi solutions.

When Gordon is not working on electronics design at Taggle, he is on his farm near Condong in northern-eastern NSW having developed a lifelong interest in farming from being raised on a cane and cattle property in the same area.

 

Richard Keaney

Head of Engineering
Richard is an experienced engineer, with over 25 years in the semiconductor and telecommunications industries in a range of engineering design and management roles. As the first full-time employee of Radiata Communications, which sold to Cisco in 2000, he led the development of the company’s first Wi-Fi modem device. Before working at Radiata, Richard held various R&D roles at Sydney University, Macquarie University, Jtec Pty Ltd and AWA Microelectronics Pty Ltd. Since leaving Cisco in 2005 Richard worked as an Engineering Manager for G2 Microsystems, a wireless start-up developing low power Wi-Fi solutions, and as a consultant for Sapphicon Semiconductor. Richard holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Sydney University and an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.

 

Bruce Rouse

Operations Director
Bruce has over 26 years in project management, consulting and customer service roles across a diverse range of industries including water resources, policing, banking and superannuation. His experience has focussed on solution delivery, prior to and including, production readiness transition and handover.

Bruce collected tertiary qualifications in his early adult life include: Bachelor of Applied Science, Bachelor of Business Accounting, Graduate Diploma in Finance & Investment, Diploma of Super Administration and a MBA.

 

Marc Englaro

Chief Product Officer

Marc leads the application and analytics software business for the company. He brings more that 20 years of enterprise software experience to Taggle and is charged with the continuing development of the IoT Platform, Analytics, Machine Learning and AI aspects of Taggle’s business.

Prior to joining Taggle, Marc was Global Director of Customer Insights at Squiz, CEO at InsightfulCRM and Regional Managing Director for Fonality.

Peter Lloyd

Chairman
Peter Lloyd (MAICD) is an accomplished Senior Executive who has worked for computer manufacturers, software providers, outsourced processors, managed services providers and associated organizations.

Peter worked for Control Data Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation and Tandem Computers. He has more recently been engaged as the global sales director and COO of Distra Ltd, as Managing Director for the Asia Pacific region for VocaLink Ltd, The Asia Pacific regional managing director of eFunds Corporation, VP of services for Houston TX based Dynasty Technologies and the Asia Regional Director for Deluxe Data Corporation.

Apart from Australia, Peter has lived and worked in New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, India (Bangalore), and the U.S.A ( San Francisco, Houston and Boston ).

Peter is currently an independent non-executive board member of Integrated Research Pty Ltd, a publicly listed software development company on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX:IRI). Peter is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

 

Mark Sullivan

Non-executive member
Mark is an experienced leader in both government and corporate sectors. He has been Secretary /CEO of three government departments/agencies as well as a senior officer of others. He was the Managing Director of Actew Corporation Ltd a company that was the ACT’s water utility as well as being in partnership with AGL Ltd and Jemena Ltd in the sale and distribution of electricity and gas in the Canberra region. His proudest achievement was the planning, approval and construction of a range of water security initiatives in the ACT including the Cotter Dam. These initiatives will provide water security to the ACT for a generation. Mark served on the boards of the two peak water industry groups, The Australian Water Association (AWA) and the Water Services Association (WASA).
An economist/accountant by training (Econ, Syd U) Mark serves on a range of boards and is the Chair of the Defence Honours and Awards Appeals Tribunal.
